内容記述 | Thermal environment in the atrium with a large movable top-light have been studied by measuring the temperature distributions and PMV for various air-conditioning conditions. These field measurements were conducted in summer, autumn and winter. In winter, the influence of the cold air penetration from the entrance on temperature condition were also examined. The temperature in the atrium was strongly influenced by the solar radiation in every season and the stagnant air layer with high temperature arose in the upper part of the atrium, especially in summer. When the top- light roof was opened, the stagnant thermal layer was removed and relatively comfortable condition was achieved in the atrium. Under the normal air-conditioning, thermal environment conditions in the occupied zone were shown as "relatively warm" in summer, "neutral" in autumn and "neutral" in winter by the measurement of PMV. In winter, the air temperature in the occupied zone dropped by 7 to 8℃ due to the cold air penetrated from the entrance while five people were passing through the entrance doors. Six minutes was nearly required to recover the level of the former comfortable indoor temperature. | |||||
