| 内容記述 | The high-frequency distribution system is a concept in which the frequency of power distribution lines in buildings, factories or chemical plants is made higher than that of utility line up to about 500Hz-1kHz. ln such systems, very high-speed rotation of ac machines. reduction of transformers or LC filters both in size and weight and many other advantages can be expected. 0ne of the key technologies in realizing such systems is that what type of power frequency changer is applied for a main circuit to link the high-frequency and the utility lines. This paper first summerizes the results of investigation on power distribution equipments for recent buildings including so called inteligent ones previously carried out by authors to evaluate the scale and the usefulness of such systems. Some possible topologies for frequency changer are compared. lt is concluded that the high-frequency cycloconverter system previously proposed by the author is an attractive one in the sense of low circuit conduction losses at maximum load and low harmonic distortion of input current without multiplexing circuits. | |||||
