| 内容記述 | The initial value problem for Hamilton-Jacobi equation in several space dimensions is considered. The solution of this problem is explicitly constructed by the method of characteristics. In general, this solution becomes multi-valued in finite time. By virtue of singularity theory, the structure of this solution as a multi-valued function is exactly clarified. | |||||
