| 内容記述 | Jewish-American director Woody Allenʼs new film A Rainy Day in New York (2019) got involved in gender trouble because film producer Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual abuse for female-actors. Film critics Brad Stevens called the film maudis so that Amazon Prime Video canceled the distribution contract of it. From the narratological point of view, the plot of A Rainy Day in New York, a young couple’s travel to the big city and faced a catastrophic crisis of their relationship, was based on one of Lo sceicco bianco (1952) by Italian director Federico Fellini. With the supports of Freudian psychoanalytic theory, we attempt to compare Allen’s film with Fellini’s and to prove the influence and the difference of both films. | |||||
