| 内容記述 | 数学教育学会では、研究グループ「数式音読SG」が新たに発足し、第1回ワークショップが2018年8月6日に開催された。この研究グループでは、数式を声に出して読むことの教育的意義に関する教育心理学に おける先行研究に基づいて、学校現場で数式を読む方法の標準を構築するための基礎研究を目的としている。このような研究は、小学校から大学までの教育現場に直接影響を与えることが期待されており、多くの人々の知識と実証データを収集することにより促進されるべきである。本論考では、上記の研究グループが本格始動する前の準備として、小学校から大学までのカリキュラムに含まれるいくつかの数式について、日本語と英語での読み方を比較・検討したい。 |

| 内容記述 | At Mathematics Education Society of Japan, a new research group “Mathematical Reading Aloud SG” was newly established, and the first workshop was held on August 6, 2018. The purpose of this research group is basic research to build a standard for reading mathematical formulas at school based on previous research in educational psychology regarding the educational significance of reading mathematical formulas aloud. Such research is expected to have a direct impact on the educational setting from elementary school to university and should be facilitated by collecting the knowledge and empirical data of many people. In this paper, as a preparation before the above research group starts full-scale, I would like to compare and examine how to read some mathematical formulas included in the curriculum from elementary school to university in Japanese and English. |
