| 内容記述 | この小文ではフランツ・ヨーゼフ・ハイドンが作曲したオラトリオ「四季」（ドイツ語では“Die Jahreszeiten”、英語では“The Seasons”）に焦点を当てる。「ハイドンとその時代」について触れた後、ドナウ川の渓谷やウィーンの森などを背景としたオーストリアの四季に思いをめぐらせながら楽曲を分析し解説する。さらにオラトリオ「天地創造」の続編としてのオラトリオ「四季」という観点から物語を読み解くとともにモーツァルトの楽曲にも触れながら考察する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this article, we focus on Franz Joseph Haydn's oratorio "The Seasons" ("Die Jahreszeiten" in German). After summarizing the life of Haydn and his era, this musical piece is analyzed and discussed while contemplating the four seasons in Austria and the sceneries of the Danube River valley and the forests of Vienna as the background of the musical piece. Furthermore, "The Seasons" is interpreted as a sequel to the oratorio "The Creation" referring to Mozart's musical pieces. | |||||
