| 内容記述 | In1958, the Korean eighteen-year-old Ri Chin'u allegedly raped and killed a Japanese woman; he was convicted and exe- cuted four years later. Although it is unclear whether he was in fact guilty of the crimes,he was suspected because of his poor background. Mass media covered that He grew up impoverished and suffered discrimination. At that time Japanese society showed great concern with it, the television drama 'Whistle in the winter sky(kuchibue wa fuyu no sorani)'written by Junji Kinoshita came up with ideas of this incident. Since "Repatriation Project" to North Korea was started in 1959,the Japanese people were stirred and started forgeting about colonial past of Korea.The drama which showed Japanese con- sciousness of their sins, disputed dominant national history. |
