| 内容記述 | This study empirically investigates the concept of the cinematic poetic body from the perspective of the actor. The “poetic body” refers to an actor’s bodily image that, while ordinarily expected to be syntactically incorporated into narrative or meaning, departs from such incorporation and escapes its function within cinematic signification. It arises through unconscious bodily movements and becomes perceptible in the disjunction = gap that emerges between the bodily image and the meanings conventionally assigned to it. Through the production of the experimental film Two of Boxes , this study examined methods—including repetitive choreography, installation-based environments, and cinematic techniques—designed to avoid active meaning transmission and instead draw out a passive, unconscious bodily image. As a result, moments in which a disjunction between bodily image and meaning was produced were identified, allowing the cinematic poetic body to surface. The findings of this study suggest potential applications for actor training and film education. |
